Löwen internationally successful

Gustav Valsvik and Robin Becker play and win

Whilst the rest of their team mates are involved in training and also playing two test friendlies in the region, two Löwen were packing their bags and heading out on international duty. Both Robin Becker (U20 Germany) and Gustav Valsvik (Norway) are currently representing Eintracht on the international stage.

On Thursday evening at 17:00 CET, Robin Becker and the German Under 20’s clashed with their U20 counter-parts from Holland. The right full-back from Eintracht was in action over the complete duration, ad Germany claimed a 1-0 victory in the prestigious clash at the ‘Sportpark de Boshoek’ in Hardenberg. On Monday, October 9th, 2017, the trainer Frank Kramer’s men will be in action against Switzerland in Norderstedt. Kick-off is set for 16:00 CET.

Norway stroll past minnows

In the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, the ‚Vikings‘, with Eintracht central-defender Gustav Valsvik playing the full ninety minutes, notched up a comfortable 8-0 (4-0) win over lowly San Marino. The win however, had merely statistical value, as Norway, who play their final group game this coming Sunday against Northern Ireland (20:45 CET), can no longer qualify for the tournament finals in Russia next summer.
